The below explains how to decide whether an employee is eligible to be involved in the Mid Year Check In or End Of Year Review. That’s not to say if they’re not included you can’t have informal conversations to manage performance and inspire team members. We have worksheets you can use to have check-ins with your people outside the system.
Include:
- All Ongoing employees who are employed prior to 1st Jan (year of the review)
- Limited Term Contracts - on contracts 12 months or more, who are employed prior to 1st Jan (year of the review)
Exclude:
- Employees whose employment is ending before:
- Mid Year Check In: 28th Feb
- End of Year Review: 30th Jun
- Casuals, contributors, cadets and contractors
- Limited Term employees on contracts less than 12 months
- Parental Leave/ Long Service Leave or other temporary leave employees away for:
- Mid Year Check In: the previous 6 months
- End Of Year Review: 6 months or more.
