15. AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE FORCE LEAVE
15.1. SBS will grant paid leave to Employees in order to discharge their obligations as members of the ADF Reserves. Such leave will be in the amount of:
(a) initially upon an Employee joining the ADF Reserves, 2 weeks’ paid leave for initial recruitment training; and
(b) each year, up to 4 weeks’ paid leave.
15.2. SBS will provide further unpaid leave, or at its discretion paid leave for ADF service, training and/or ceremonial duties.
15.3. Employees taking ADF leave must provide SBS with evidence of attendance at ADF activities and the duration of those activities.
15.4. During periods of ADF leave, Employees will be paid the ordinary salary that they would have received had they been at work. SBS will not require Employees to pay their ADF Reservists salary to SBS in any circumstances.
