47. EMERGENCY DUTY
47.1. Employees who are required to come to work and deal with an emergency at a time when they would not normally have been at work will be paid at double time rates, except on SBS Holidays, when double time and a half rates will apply. Payment will include time spent travelling to and from work.
47.2. The minimum emergency duty payment will be two hours at double time.
47.3. Emergency duty does not apply:
(a) where notice of the need to perform the emergency duty was given to an Employee prior to ceasing work;
(b) to rostered Employees whose ordinary commencement time is altered to meet an emergency; or
(c) to On-Call Employees.
