If you are a full-time employee (non-casual) and covered by the SBS Enterprise Agreement, you are entitled to 6 weeks’ annual leave each year. The additional 2 weeks’ annual leave is to compensate you for working on public holidays, other than Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. If you are covered by common law, you are generally entitled to 4 weeks’ annual leave each year.
Note: Part-time employees are entitled to a pro-rata amount of annual leave according to their number of days/hours per week.
