A Statement of Service may be requested by employees for a range of reasons, including to provide to financial institutions or prospective landlords, or for applications for study, or on exit from SBS.
SBS's P&C Services team can generate statements of service to confirm specific information relating to an employee's service with SBS.
A standard statement of service will include key employment information such as:
- The employee's name
- The employee's position title
- The employee's start and end dates of employment
- the employee's employment type
- the employee's remuneration details
SBS cannot provide any statements regarding an employees performance in relation to their duties.
In certain circumstances, an employee may request for key duties and tasks to be detailed in the Statement of Service. This can only be done with an accompanying Job Description for the role which can be incorporated into the Statement of Service.
To request a Statement of Service, please submit a ticket via the P&C Help Centre, selecting "Offboarding/Leaving SBS" for the Statement of Service option. Please attach a Job Description if detailed duties for the role is required.
